Hotel managers faced a gunging by their employees as they spent a day in the stocks for charity.
Craig Dowie, hotel manager, and Paula Wiggleworth, deputy manager, at the Crown Hotel on High Street, Bawtry, were covered in gunge by staff members on Monday in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.

Wedding co-ordinator, Sheena Smith organised the fundraising event after her six-month-old niece,Yana-Shae O'Callaghan, was diagnosed with the disease.

Sheena, 28, from Ranskill said: "We were thinking of ways we could raise money for my niece so I was thinking of things people would pay to do, and then I suddenly realised - gunge the boss! I was pretty surprised when Craig agreed to do it straight away!"

After charging £5 a bucket the hotel managed to raise £100 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and is now looking into organising more fund-raising events.
